Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Impulsion Technosolutions ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Workboard ITS iOS application ("the App"). Workboard ITS is a workspace application intended for use by employees and members of organizations that have licensed the Workboard platform.

1. Who we are
Workboard ITS is developed and operated by Impulsion Technosolutions, based at Kapil Akhila, Pan Card Club Road, Baner, Pune 411045, Maharashtra, India (GST: 27AQCPJ7076R2Z1).

2. What data we collect
Workboard ITS collects only the data necessary to provide the app's functionality. We do not collect data for advertising or resale.

We do not collect: browsing history outside the app, precise location, contacts, health data, financial data, biometric data, or any advertising identifiers.
3. How we use your data
We use your data only for the following purposes:
- Providing the service: authenticating you, showing your tasks, syncing your changes with your workspace, and delivering attachments and comments to authorized teammates.
- Communication: responding to support requests you initiate.
- Security: detecting and preventing unauthorized access or abuse of the platform.
- Improvement: identifying and fixing bugs, based on anonymous crash reports if you have iOS diagnostic sharing enabled.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or resale to third parties.
4. Data sharing and third parties
Your workspace data is stored on servers operated by Impulsion Technosolutions and is accessible only to:
- You and other authorized members of your workspace.
- Your organization's Workboard administrator(s).
- Impulsion Technosolutions staff, strictly for the purpose of maintaining the service or responding to your support requests.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing. We may disclose data if legally required by a valid court order or government request in the jurisdiction where the data is held.
5. Data security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data:
- All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS (TLS 1.2 or later).
- Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms and never stored in plain text.
- Server access is restricted to authorized personnel and protected by multi-factor authentication.
- Session tokens are stored locally on your device using iOS's secure storage mechanisms.
No system is completely immune to attack. If we become aware of a security incident that affects your data, we will notify you and your organization's administrator without undue delay.
6. Data retention
We retain your workspace data for as long as your organization maintains an active Workboard subscription. If your account is disabled or your organization ends its subscription, workspace data is retained for a reasonable transition period and then permanently deleted, unless a longer period is required by law.
You can request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting your workspace administrator or emailing support@impulsiontechnosolutions.com.
7. iOS permissions we request
The app may request the following iOS permissions. Each is optional and only used when you take a specific action:
- Camera: used only when you choose to take a new photo to attach to a task.
- Photo Library: used only when you choose to attach an existing photo to a task.
- Microphone: used only if you record a voice note for a task attachment (planned feature).
- Photo Library Additions: used only when you choose to save a downloaded file or image to your Photos.
None of these permissions are accessed in the background. You can revoke any permission at any time via Settings → Workboard ITS on your iPhone.
8. Tracking and analytics
Workboard ITS does not use any third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. We do not use Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt because we do not track you across other apps or websites.
We may log anonymous, aggregated usage metrics on our own servers (such as how often the app is opened or which features are used) purely to improve product quality. These logs cannot be used to identify individual users outside your organization.
9. Children's privacy
Workboard ITS is a workplace productivity tool and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we may have collected data from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Request deletion of your personal data.
- Object to or restrict certain uses of your data.
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@impulsiontechnosolutions.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and at no cost.
11. International data transfers
Our servers are located in India. If you use Workboard ITS from outside India, your data will be transferred to and processed in India. By using the app you consent to this transfer.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, if the changes are significant, notify you in-app or by email. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
